Is a major by-product resulting from the manufacture of Coconut Methyl Ester (CME) process (sweetwater), further purified by distillation and acidulation using hydrochloric acid. Contains 80-85% Glycerine.

Is also a by-product of CME process.  Black, slightly viscous liquid, produced by acidulation of Sweetwater – top layer.

Produced through trans-esterification of triglycerides of coconut oil. It contains a variety of fatty acid methyl esters with carbon chain lengths between C6 to C18:2, C12 an C14 carbon chains are the most common.
